8. Very scarey at first. I wondered if I was up to doing it and I
wondered if I could handle having 12 bosses (I work for a Planning Board). I wondered if my mind could still work. I wondered if I could get up in the morning and go to work everyday. I wondered if I could get everything done and still have a life.

I have learned that my mind is still pretty sharp and gets sharper with use. The job is a challenge right now and I'm learning something new everyday. That's important. I'm up with the sun anyway so getting to work is easy. I seem to know my place so I haven't had any trouble having bosses and the bosses have been pretty decent anyway. The most important thing I have learned is that my life experience, years of dealing with people and problems has given me a lot of wisdom and the ability to know when to bite my tongue and say nothing and let things play out. It is the life experience and people skills developed over many years that has helped me the most. I am really loving this and what makes it even better for me is knowing that I've worked hard enough during my life to be secure that the day I decide that this job is shit, I am free to walk away from it.
