Reply #5: I think first impressions, whether they're good or bad, have something

to do with how we perceive people. Since I'm sort of a pessimist, I've found myself liking more people later on who didn't sit well when we first met. So I guess you could say I see the bad, but the bad has to expose itself first, I don't make it up in my head. AND my negative judgment only extends to behavior, not clothing or hairstyles. I just figure people want to look how they want to look and that's ok with me. But if they're assholes I don't like 'em.

As for music, I realize that not all people share my tastes, so I pretty much keep my mouth shut to avoid hurting their feelings. But I can't say that I wouldn't rag on about it if I had to live with it, or if someone expected me to pay money to see it.
