The whole world needs to get involved in renewable energy programs like this. Solar, wind, ocean wave energy, all kinds of sources are available to try and then find out which ones are going to do the best job when combined. The U.S. should have been the leader in this, but with an "oil" administration in charge for the last 8 years, it was never even an option!

I am sure that the same kind of programs could be set up in some of the deserts in the U.S. where the land is not good for much of anything. We can break the hold of foreign oil if we really had a program to fund such projects. The U.S. could produce jobs, help the economy, and lower the need to import oil but starting up such programs. Obama has talked about it, and I look forward to seeing these things done when Bush and company leave office!
