I met Howard Dean tonight.

He came to speak in Lexington tonight for the Change for Kentucky group. It was a small crowd of only about 300 people, and the event was short, but it was very inspiring.

Dean hit everything right on about Dems standing up for themselves again, fighting for health care, gay rights, etc... We'd be nuts not to elect this guy DNC chair.

And that's another thing. If anyone can clue me in on who votes on such a thing, i'd like to know. I've been really curious.

Then he began to leave, and I was on the opposite side of the room from the aisle he was walking in. So I jumped out of my chair (and I think I trampled on my friend) and sprinted to him before he left and got him to autograph his book "Winning Back America."

It was way cool. He's a lot shorter than I thought. I mean I knew he was short. Maybe it's just because I'm so tall.

I really love him. I would have gladly given up a Howard Dean autograph tonight for a Howard Dean inauguration three days ago.
