...to think about a family weeping over the loss of a loved one. I understand the anguish that some feel about uh...about the death that takes place. Um...I also have heard the voices of those saying "pull out now." And I thought about it, their cry, and their sincere desire to...(pause)...reduce the loss of life by pulling our troops out...I just...st...st..strongly disagree. Pulling the troops out would send a terrible signal to the enemy. Immediate withdrawal would...uh...would say to the Zarqawis of the world, the terrorists of the world, the bombers who take innocent life around the world, you know, "the.. the...the...the...the...United States is WEAK, and all we've gotta do is intimidate and they'll leave."

NO TRANSCRIPT URL, this is my transcript, and if you want to verify it, you can go to MSNBC and watch the video: http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/j/msnbc/Components/Video

ON EDIT: Quotes around the "U.S. is weak" remarks to show that Bush is "imagining" what the "terrorists" might say, NOT saying "we need to intimidate the terrorists."
