6. Anybody know what the process would be to change this?
Superdelegates were instituted in order to make sure that those Dems who voted in the primaries, who are believed to be more liberal than the rest of the country, wouldn't elect someone that the party bosses believed to be "unelectable" in the Genereal Election.

This kind of thinking is undemocratic and outdated and needs to be jettisoned. This is something we here at DU should make a project - finding out how to get rid of this scheme.
