John Kerry....PLEASE pick a great VP....

Right now everything is teetering on the edge. There will be a lot of back and forth in the polls to be sure, with neither Bush or Kerry ever taking a massive lead. The problem is with so much in bushs arsenal...the money...the media...all of it...all it will take as we've seen with the horrible ads and the bombing in Spain, is something slight to tip the balance. Look at how the polls have changed in a week. Granted, they could change back.

But right now Kerry is standing out there relatively alone and unguarded except for his speeches and his fighting back. But until he puts a team in place, especially his VP selection, he will be at the disadvantage.

If he picks someone whose announcement goes over with a thud I will be afraid. If he picks someone who gets people excited rather than someone who is simply geographically correct, then I think that will start a momentum that will be difficult to beat.

Please...please. No Evan Bayhs
