8. Obama was told the vote wouldn't count and removed his name.
It's pretty obvious that if the vote would've counted he wouldn't have removed his name. Holding an election, saying the numbers won't matter and then deciding they will after the fact is no more fair than deciding an exhibition game will count in the league records after the game is played or a teacher deciding a ungraded evaluation test to judge the class's current knowledge will be graded after all after it's taken.
