Look, I'm sorry you elected a hypocrite as a governor, but the person you need to be jumping all over is Spitzer himself, not those who are reporting on this issue. And frankly, you really can't blame Olberman for pointing out the hypocrisy of a former AG who was busting prostitution rings going out as governor and using prostitution rings. Hell, that's exactly the term that went through my head yesterday afternoon when I first heard the news of Spitzer's demise.

I'm not jumping for joy over Spitzer's demise, nor am I saddened by it. To me, it's simply another politician who's gotten hoisted on his own petard. The only seriously disturbing note to this one is the fact that this information was gathered via a federal wiretap. Whose wiretap, and at whom was that wiretap aimed, the prostitution ring or Spitzer, and what were the motivations for this wiretap.
