30. McGovern in 1972
I had just turned 18 that year, and 18-year-olds had just been given the vote (thank you, Senator Jennings Randolph!). My older sister, who was 23, was really cheesed off that she and I would both get our first chance to vote for president the same year, despite the five-year age difference.

She got over it. But neither of us ever got over Nixon's win!
