...you will tap into the mother lode of energy, support, and yes, money (including some of mine) that was the real force that powered the Dean phenomenon.

This is especially resonant in your district because Sweeney was the thug who yelled "Shut it down!" to start the "riot" in Miami/Dade in 2000. (Also wouldn't be a bad campaign slogan: "Sweeney: Shut him down.")

While this may or may not win you some "former" Repubs like yourself in the general, it will certainly serve you well with the Dem rank and file in the primary.
