She is hoping to quash the story that is getting a lot more press over there than it is here. The EU is investigating, and if there was torture in those sites, and you know there has been and continues to be, this could blow up big in Europe. More great international relations on the administration's part here.

This combined with the story that Bush tried to talk Blair into bombing Al Jazeera, to quash the chemical weapons use in Fallujah by U.S. forces, which he know Al Jazeera would cover, is front page stuff in the press over there. If that document that nearly made it to the press, that the Brits suppressed ever surfaces, these two stories will tie together very quickly. And light-up like "willy pete" at 10 Downing street, as well as 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
