Although they are not related there's a democratic Murphy running for PA-06 & 08, 2 very vulnerable seats in SE PA. Lois Murphy almost beat Jim GErlach in 2004 and with Gerlach's association with Tom Delay he should be ripe for the pickings. PA-08 was represented for almost a decade by one of the most liberal republicans but in 2004 was replaced by a hard-core conservative who actually accused his opponenent in 2004 of being anti-sementic because she attended a private screening of Farheinheit 9/11. After 2 years the district has buyers remorse and the democratic candidate, Patrick Murphy, is a veteran of the current gulf war.
