If those results aren't BS, they're probably responses from people who think he's a generic Giuliani-ish Republican. Once those people are familiar with his actual stances, they'd like him less, I'd wager.

Supposedly, his VP is going to be Chuck Hagel--now CHUCK could pull in the GOP voters, but Bloomberg on his own? Naaah.
