I do not think I have felt so down about politics since

the early morning hours after the 2004 elections.

I have seen my first, second, then third choices for president leave the race and still looked forward to a Dem in the Whitehouse.

I have read, listened and researched each time the selection became smaller and moved forward toward a Dem in the Whitehouse.

Yesterday, I had the chance to hear Chelsea answer questions about her mother's policies and plans for our future. Then heard Obama's speech in Omaha. And I looked forward to either of these great Dem's in the Whitehouse.

Then I read some letters to editor, read more posts on DU and hear Obama supporters say how they can never vote for Clinton, and Clinton supporters say they can never vote for Obama. Now I sadly realized I can only look forward to another four to eight years of a repub in the Whitehouse.
