I'm not really going to try to defend MSNBC or any MSM outlet, but I will say that Dan Abrams did a feature on these poll numbers and how they're being reported. He very clearly warned the media will do whatever they can to make this a horse race; even when the poll numbers show otherwise. Good on him.

We know the MSM will do this; otherwise the presidential race might become boring (gasp!) and they might lose viewers.

This is a totally unrelated point - but I did some traveling this week. In the airports in Boston and Newark, Obama t-shirts for sale right in with the standard local fare. I couldn't help but think what a genius move that is.
