38. It could be closer than some think, but I can see a case for Obama with
a comfortable win in the lower 50s for the popular vote but a significant win in the electoral college -- certainly enough to claim a "momentum mandate" in a very historic time.

He's fighting for Indiana and Virginia and has offices in SW Ohio where both Kerry and Gore had none, so I think he's going into the fall with his Sunday fastball against the hapless McCain and the under-funded GOP.

By no means is anything in the bag. But the trendlines are running blue.
