Many of those who are the loudest complainers on this website are not contributing their time to local organizations that have the ability to initiate change. They also don't even know the names of their State legislators or Congressional representatives. I'd love to hear how many times they've even contacted them, especially the ones that spend so much time typing on DU.

There are TOO many people here that "bitch and moan" about wanting change and never actually do anything about it. When it comes down to going out into the community and doing something about it, certain posters have the misguided belief that their complaints registered here actually account for participation in influencing 'change'.
