8. My understanding is there is a legal way to institute health care changes.
But because of that legal way, you can't reform to the same extent. So that's the downside. Plus, Obama WANTS it to go through Congress and be voted on.

But there is that legal way lurking in the background (reconciliation). That's not a sure thing, either, and I heard on TV that such a procedure can't be used for a public option. So I don't know how helpful that would be.

You should be ashamed of yourself for comparing our legitimate, constitutionally-protected procedures to what happened in Honduras. Reconciliation IS a legal procedure, and exists for a reason. It is not a coup.

Everyone who is a decent human being is in favor of health reform. So which procedure is used is just, well, a procedural thing. Not everyone will agree on the details of WHAT should be done, so WHAT is decided should be done will dictate which procedure will be used.
