I'm not kidding. Fundie wingnut Christians see THEMSELVES as the "real" victims of the Holocaust.
They have rewritten history to see Nazis as Athiests (and Socialists to boot) who acted out of hatred for religious people.
Ergo, the real story of the Holocaust was Athiests vs. Religious People--and "Religious" is all but a synonym for "Christian."
I am absolutely not kidding. I have had students argue these points in their papers. Jews were peripheral to the whole thing.
