Taft does not have right to refuse to testify

"According to The Columbus Disptach (subscription required) Governor Taft has refused to testify, and he has prohibited five other current and former members of his administration from testifying, in a Coingate lawsuit filed by State Sen. Marc Dann. Taft has cited “executive privilege” as the reason for refusing to testify. According to Sen. Dann, “executive privilege” is a concept foreign to Ohio law, and Taft has no legal right to refuse to testify. I did a little bit of legal research myself, and I was also unable to find a single Ohio case applying the concept of executive privilege."
