Your greatest sports high so far this year, and your lowest low?

Mine are the same:

High: The Spartans beating USC, Kansas, Louisville, Connecticut in the NCAA basketball tournament, with the Final Four in Detroit. Wow. I bleed green and white. What a run.

Low: Spartans getting blown out by NC in the title game. Congrats, Tar Heels. This was your year. We'll be back, though.

High: Red Wings rolling through the playoffs, taking a 3-2 lead over the Penguins with home-ice advantage.

Low: Pens beating us at home in game 7. When I went back to Michigan just to watch it with my buddies of so many years. Ouch.

High: Tom Watson, at weeks away from 60, leading every round of the British Open, and coming to 18 on the final day needing just a par.

Low: Ugh. Do I have to say it? Great second shot on 18, but one club too many. I don't care if he is a conservative. That would have been one of the great wins not only of this year, but of all time, in any sport.

Anyway, onwards. That's sports. Bring on football! Who's with me on the Lions winning the Super Bowl?!?
