A liberal firefighter, a very rare man. I'm a firefighter, and I love my brother and sister firefighters, but very few are liberal, except for a few sisters. I love to debate them, most are not up to speed when it comes to politics. We, as a union supported Kerry, but few knew why. They were pro Kerry, but anti choice, pro war, against G&L marriage, etc.. most are conservative people, who supported Kerry because that is what the union said they should do. They supported, and that is all that really matters when it comes to voting. I am a happily married firefighter as well but I still want the scoop on Laura Schultz. Also, most all firefighter I know have no problem with gay & lesbian people, what ever floats your boat is the attitude of most, but they are against G&L marriage, none of them can explain why. I find that funny, and sad at the same time.
