He went after him for his WSJ Op-ed calling some of Lieberman's opponents anti-Semitic because Lanny cited a sarcastic comment without getting the sarcasm.

He went after him for continuing to say good stuff about Bush and Rove. He kept referring to him as Bush's friend. When Lanny objected and seemed a little taken aback by Al's questioning, Al said something about what a great guy Mengele was personally so someone could certainly be his buddy without agreeing with how he did his work. heh.

It was quite aggressive for Al and Lanny has really been a jackass. He has now written a book equating both the left and the right equally with sliming and demonizing people. Both sides are equally bad.
