He's unfailingly polite to his callers (he listens to them--other hosts should learn a thing or two), has a wonderful soothing radio voice, and is so damn smart it's a joy to listen and learn from him.

But I still like Ed Schultz and I think he may do us a lot of good in the long run. There's a whole segment of the country who need someone like Ed to tell them it's okay to be a liberal. Sure lots of us disagree with him on lots of issues--but isn't it both the strength and the weakness (so it's not fair to point fingers at Ed) of the Democratic Party that we don't all march in goosestep together?
