Rather odd considering the Russian experience with neoliberal 'reform' that has transformed their own country from a dismal post-stalinist regime where everyone had a place to live, medical care, and food to eat, to a late capitalist hell-hole where the average life expectancy has plummeted, and the disparities between the elites running the kleptocracy and the people are worse by far than they were under the old regime.

Based on life expectancy alone, life in North Korea is better than life in Russia. Go figure.
