23. Rome Wasn't Burnt in a Day: The Real Deal on How Politicians...
Most of this show is crap, of course, but I caught the Q&A last week. The audience was mostly older people, about half Democrat, and they went after him a few times. Quite amusing. :)

Joe Scarborough, former U.S. Congressman and current host of MSNBC's Scarborough Country, talks about his new book, “Rome Wasn’t Burnt in a Day: The Real Deal on How Politicians, Bureaucrats, and Other Washington Barbarians are Bankrupting America.” In it, the author details his time in Congress as a member of the 1994 freshman class, intent on curtailing excessive government spending. The book also examines current government spending and critiques the Republican leadership that has brought the national debt to 7.5 trillion dollars.

Joe Scarborough served in the United States Congress as the Republican representative from the first district of Florida, from 1994 to 2001. He is the host of Scarborough Country on MSNBC.
