I just uploaded this Old, but still very relevant film, that gives a very good definition of what Democracy actually is, and what it is you look for in determining if you actually live in a Democracy.

As you will see, if you watch this film, the "Conditions for Democracy" these days are very much under threat. I really wish every American could see this film to really see how bad it has gotten in this country, though I'm sure most won't take the time.

Another interesting thing to notice, but hopefully not dwell on is, how much progress women and non-white Americans have made since this film was made. Please remember that this film was made 61 years ago in what was a very different America, so at least some things have improved since then.
