7. K&R a thousand times.
Best line: "cause we're principled."

That's the difference. Obama will never be considered to be a great president because he has no principles or if he does think he has them, he certainly never has the courage or strength to act on them. He sounds principled, but he isn't at all. He's just another opportunistic politician.

It's really sad, because America needs a great leader to bring us out of this recession and out of the division in the country.

Obama is kind of a manufactured political star, I am beginning to think.

For example, tonight, I was listening to Obama give one of his campaign speeches.

You know what I have never been able to figure about him is where he got that southern accent he sometimes uses when he speaks. My best guess is that he imitates old recordings of Martin Luther King. He gets a certain sound in both his voice and his pronunciation that is reminiscent of King. It's also possible that he learned that slight drawl from the preacher(s) in his church in Chicago.

He never lived in the South. They don't talk like that in Hawaii, in Los Angeles (Occidental College) in New York City (Columbia) or in Massachusetts (Harvard). And I doubt that people talk like that in Chicago either. So, I would like to know who Obama is imitating when he gives some of his speeches.

Obama seems to be a nice enough guy, but quite willing to be the tool of the bankers. It's sad. He has a lovely family and, like I said, he is a nice guy. But when the bankers are done with him, when he is no longer useful to them, he won't have much support from the rest of the country because he has not done what is right for the country as a whole.

He really needs Elizabeth Warren in his administration - to give him a more balanced choice of viewpoints and information.
