Tom Suozzi.
For those unfamiliar with him, he's the County Executive of Nassau County on Long Island. He was Spitzer's only primary challenger in New York two years ago. He definitely wants the governor's job. He's a up-and-coming moderate Democrat, good looking guy, and seriously ambitious individual. Spitzer's resignation clears the way for him to make a run in 2010. This is him:  And these are the likely people who would run against him in 2010... Anthony Weiner:  Hillary Clinton:  Steve Levy:  Andrew Cuomo:  I'd put the odds like this, if these were the five who were in the race... Clinton: 2:5 Cuomo: 3:1 Levy: 9:1 Suozzi: 10:1 Weiner: 19:1 |
