1. We all knew that Shock and Awe would target civilians.
That was the stated goal. Our army was going to cause so much damage, so quickly, that is was supposed to demoralize the population. What else could that be but massive civilian death and destruction?
Rumsfeld and the Pentagon essentially announced their plans for mass war-crimes in advance, and all the knee-jerk fake patriots stood behind them and waved their flags. x(
