The hedge funds, the private equity funds, and the rest are the essential product of the "booms" of two decades ago and also the core engines for creating the ever shifting bubbles of the present day. They are the first things that should be banned - made impossible, with only such thought as is required to unravel them. Instead, the discussion is about how to "save" them.
