I still ask myself -- was it necessary to arrest and cuff Gates.

None of us were there but for all this hullabaloo to come out
of one incident, there had to be some angry words from each.

Gates had to have said something that ticked the Police Officer
off.

Each of these persons have a higher responsibility. I expect
more from College Professors and I sure as heck expect more
from a Police Officer who specializes in Diversity Training
or Police (Profiling Black Citizens).

Did Professor Gates over react and perhaps say some things
he might now regret (whether he is willing to admit it or not)
Did the Police Officer momentarily forget all the goood things
he teaches others and as a human follow his gut???
As an American, I would have a problem with someone arresting
me in my own home for tumultous behavior--whatever that is.
The Neighbors had not reported loud disturbing the peace behavior,\
They reported a possible burglary.

There is something wrong with the picture. Police go to check
on possible burglary. Homeowner is breaking into his own home
because he had lost or forgotten his key. End up with Homeowner
in Cuffs(was this necessary).

Now can we get back to HealthCare and other drastic issues
facing the country.



We have a case of two smart people with big egos. Is this really
a serious Racial Profiling or the Media who love to talk Race
because it creates conflict.
