thats a big insult from them. My daughter used to date a Chinese boy who was born here but his parents never made any attempt to assimilate Canadian culture. They hated white people, were totally vicious to my daughter and eventually drove them apart. The boy is now married to a Chinese girl but they are not having kids, I'm sure its his form of revenge to his parents because they wanted only pure blood Chinese grandchildren. Now of course all Chinese immigrants aren't like that, the daughter of one of my friends married a Chinese boy and there was no intercultural issues at all.
