motivated and out there and they're pushing Republicans into seats that should have been safe. Meanwhile, the progressives get told to sit down, shut up and not embarrass the Dems for being so fringey and over-reaching. And the Dems are losing seats because they keep going to Washington and acting like Republicans.

When Republicults held the reins, they got things done with much smaller numbers - mainly because they were loud and shouted down any criticism.

Maybe, we ought to be pushing more loudly instead. Instead of offering excuses, demand that they support the platform.
