I Call for A Truce On Kucinich Posts

In the end Kucinich did the honorable thing. He admitted that the greater good was voting for the bill. I applaud him for this. We can stop arguing about it or coming up with justifications.

He, like many people here, myself included, wanted a better bill. He fought the hard fight and proudly carried the banner. In the end, there was no overcoming the reality that while the House had the votes for a Public Option, the Senate did not. In the end, even Rep. Kucinich admits, along with the entire Progressive Caucus of the Democratic Party, that the current HCR bill will bring much needed assistance to millions of Americans who do not have access to health care.

The HCR bill is good enough to pass. We don't need to argue about Kucinich's vote.

I realize it will take time for some of the wounds to heal around here, but the healing won't start until we stop arguing about the man who is Kucinich.
