to me in this ordeal is how it glaringly underscores the way "justice" works in this country for the wealthy and celebrities.

Her initial release is the kind of thing that happens to the rich all the time. Ironically, Paris' celebrity status worked against her in this instance. Had she not created the publicity circus around herself over the years no one would've been aware of her release and she'd go happily on with her privileged, care-free life.
