... the things you care about if we don't' have non-sell outs in office.

Were it not for things legislated like the GI bill, or Veterans Administration, the Bill of Rights, plus a lot of hard fucking work by "the people", we wouldn't have the number of programs that do help, albeit in an inperfect form.

The only way I have of making a difference, at least locally IS to vote. Voting, and doing whatever other godamned thing you have to so that we can progress to whatever the next level is. I worked hard to candidates, but I also have done my part to push candidates out of the picture who don't deserve to stay in office. Beats hitting them over the head, and it's our right.

It's a choice that can make the difference, so I'll keep fighting for that right. Maybe some day you'll feel differently.
