It's SOP for a President to fire the incumbent DOJ people & hire his own for the duration.
That's not the issue.
The issue is that AFTER the Bush Regime did that, they found to their horror that some of the people they hired ACTUALLY WANTED TO DO THEIR JOB WELL AND FOLLOW THE LAW.
THAT'S why they were fired - not because they weren't Republicans, but because they were honest & professional Republicans.
