Back in 1991. The meds alone were 4000.00+ per cycle. Luckily I had very good insurance at the time and they paid for it. It doesn't sound like she had insurance.
This whole thing sounds fishy to me. Sounds more and more like black market fertility drugs and a turkey baster. I too would like to know how 4 implanted embryos turns into 8 babies because of over stimulated ovaries.
