Another classic from that era, which still holds up today, would be "Blowin' in the Wind." Older DUers may recall the episode of "Gomer Pyle, USMC" in which Jim Nabors (Gomer) met a group of hippies in a "flower-power" painted van. They were anti-war. Gomer joined them singing, and he did the Dylan song. As silly as that might sound, I thought it marked a pretty interesting milestone.
