I mean, what other explanation could there possibly be for a cloud over a military installation?

I dunno, maybe to fly stuff in? Maybe to be used as an auxiliary landing field? Maybe to be used for carrier landing practice?

"Why does the Military want to build it's own 2 mile long runway for touch and go landings in the tourist town Kailua-Kona at Keahole Airport on the Big Islnad of Hawaii when they have facilities within a 10 minute flight from March AFB in San Bernardino?"

March AFB is in California. California is about 2,000 miles from Hawaii. Is it possible that 2,000 miles is a long way to go for pilots to practice touch-and-go landings if they're stationed in Hawaii?
