56. I realize it would not help you quite as much...
...but your wife could likely still enjoy the 3D. I, too have extreme astigmatism and still managed to get the effect of the 3D technology. Perhaps it wasn't as much as it was to other people (I have no frame of reference, obviously) but to me, it was still magnificent. :-)
