22. Not anymore
My neighbor's child has down syndrome, so I never say that word, but I have
used it before we moved here. I used stupid instead.

As a matter of fact my daughter then a 5-year-old used to play with this
little girl everyday. My husband and I never said that there was anything
different about this girl because my daughter did not notice. Why ruin a
good thing huh? Kids can be so cruel if they think there is something
different about someone. My daughter eventually noticed, but it wasn't
until she was older and she accepted it. Heck by then they were already
buddies, having sleep overs, going places and bar-b-ques.
