but I understand that is totally part of their culture, and not the same as someone straddling cultures..My friend is British-Black, raised and born in the UK, and speaks the Queens BBC English...in the US he is often told that he doesn't sound like the 'others'...he calls people out on it all the time...most of all, he is always shocked at the amount of ignorance he encounters in the US..
