21. One of the best moments in modern day politics
Edited on Sat Aug-07-10 08:00 PM by rbrnmw
I just wish our side would stand up to them more often. I think if they did you would see a different bunch. When I was 14 there was a girl who use to pick on me and she would hit me. I always ran from her. One Day my Dad happened by and saw the whole thing. He took me home and sat me down. He said the best thing you can do is stand up to her and fight back. If she hits you hit her back Nobody likes pain he said If you don't stand up you will have to run all your life, from bullies. A few days later sure enough there she was, just waiting for a chance to humiliate me. She came at me and grabbed me I hit her with everything I had. I hit her twice and she started crying, and begged me not to hit her again. I hate violence and I don't recommend it I felt really bad for hitting her. My Dad was right though she never bothered me again like that. I found out a couple of years later that her mother and father were alcoholics who were in the bar more than at home.. So I am sure she was in a lot of pain. We were not ever best friends but, I did invite her to movies with a group of friends whenever I could. She is an RN now and doing well I hear.
