But Murphy's on a big record label and Campbell isn't." Campbell hooked up with Atlantic Records, and the lawyer was never heard from again.

2. The big-shot law firm that Erin Brockovich was battling decided to settle when her lawyer's firm hooked up hooked up with a big-shot firm of their own.

3. The guy who tried to sue Michael Moore for using footage of in Farenheit 9/11 might have been more successful if he'd focused the lawsuit on NBC, who gave Moore the footage. But of course, NBC has more legal muscle.
