As for the statement above, the experience of the middle class will be that of a tax increase. And the media will make sure that's how it gets framed.
And they will say that Obama broke his promise to not raise taxes on those making under $250,000 ... they will juxtapose video of Obama making that promise with video of GHW Bush saying "read my lips, no new taxes."
