37. I think as people become more EDUCATED about this project, tempers will cool down.
Too many people just don't know the whole story. They hear "MOSQUE AT GROUND ZERO" and have an emotional reaction. They don't know it is cultural center including interfaith activities. They don't know that a current facility is just four blocks away. They don't know that the proposed location can not be seen from ground zero. People are having a knee-jerk reaction to this. Get the public educated, and this WILL cool down. And, once the project is done and people see it for what it is, then they'll relax even more. ReSCUMS are just trying to play it as a wedge issue. Typical RePUKE tactic.
