The hypocrisy is astounding,

If it had been another European politician, except a conservative instead of a liberal, also with a reputation for womanizing, say Berlusconi or Sarkozy, we wouldn't be seeing this rush to his defense around here. We wouldn't be seeing this blaming of the victim that we're seeing around here. We wouldn't be seeing this disgusting misogyny in post after post.

But since it is DSK, a socialist, all the sudden everything is fair game? Attacking the victim, labeling her a "honey trap". Positing wild conspiracy theories, where one is more far fetched than the last. Blaming the victim, insisting that she couldn't be a victim, asserting that it is really DSK who is the victim.

All because he is a socialist.:eyes:

The hypocrisy is astounding.

Face the facts people, it doesn't matter what a person's politics are, liberal, conservative, fascist or socialist, they can still be assholes, they can, and do commit assault, against women, against men. Their politics don't determine their guilt or innocence, but rather the person's actions.

So rather than go off on an orgy of hypocrisy, misogyny, blaming the victim and succumbing to ever more bizarre conspiracy theories, try doing the sensible thing, wait for the courts to decide. Wait for the evidence to come in. Act like an adult and see what happens. I know that's hard, I've jumped on the bandwagon before and gotten my happy ass scorched. I learned from that, and now I'm here to tell you folks that it is time you learned that lesson as well. Let the justice system take its course.

And then, after all is said and done, when the final verdict is in, that's when we can weigh in, one weigh or another.

But right now, to continue to blame the victim, posit these wild ass theories, right now all that is doing is making a lot of you look like foolish assholes. And if it does turn out that DSK is truly guilty, you will look even more foolish. So I suggest that you quite while you're ahead.
